Parenting and Personal Growth Workshops
The Power in Parenting (PIP) program is dedicated to helping parents and individuals be the best they can be using positive parenting techniques and personal strategies. Kim also teaches about anxiety, co-dependency, and self worth to help empower you as an individual (not just for parents). When parents begin to argue and fight with their children, they actually “give away” their parenting power. The PIP workshops help you to RESTORE that power and your position as “The Parent.”
The Power in Parenting (PIP) workshops are hosted by Kim, and when she presents the strategies and techniques, the lessons come alive. The advantage of learning through a workshop is the interaction of those around you, the ability to ask specific questions, and get immediate feedback. Workshops are designed to help parents and individuals learn new uses for the tools they already have, and learn new strategies to help improve behavior. Parents and individuals will leave the workshop with tools they can use immediately! Workshops are also more economical, providing a night out to learn and grow as you become a stronger, more confident person. Bring a friend and grow together!!
There are many different topics to choose from, so check for the topic and date that best fits your needs. Most of the parenting specific workshops can be applied to children of all ages. The intent of each workshop is to build upon one another, yet each workshop is an independent stand alone workshop. Each of these workshops are delivered in 1.5 hours. Sign up for one, or for as many as you'd like. Check back often as new topics will be covered.
Parents usually start out with the best intentions, and the greatest dreams and desires for their children. Most new parents do not consider the types of problem behaviors that could come upon them. Sometimes problems can seem like they "came out of no where," not realizing many problems start out a little bit here and a little bit there until the negative behavior comes too often or too intense to ignore. Whether you are wanting to prevent these intense behaviors, or you're looking to minimize them and your frustration, these workshops are designed to bring awareness to some potential struggles and offer tools and skills that can improve behaviors and strengthen relationships. Individuals (and parents) who struggle with managing anger, or who want to improve their communication skills will also find workshops on that topic. Also, individuals struggling with anxiety, co-dependency, or self-worth can find help at these workshops.
