Kim Snyder holds a Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and holds an LPC license in the state of Michigan. Kim is also a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). Kim is a Board Certified TeleMental Health Counselor (BC-TMH), which allows her the ability to offer excellent flexibility in counseling methods. From face-to-face in her office (location permitting) or through video chat, or telephone, there is a method to fit most people.
After more than a decade of counseling, Kim is transitioning from counseling to coaching as so many parents don't need a diagnosis, they just need tools and strategies. Combining those with coaching helps parents stay focused on transforming and implementing new effective parenting habits.
Kim also takes her coaching out in the community as a public speaker, helping parents become confident leaders in their family. Through workshops, webinars, and conferences, Kim helps parents increase skills in communication, learn what makes consequences effective and how to implement them, learn how to handle tantrums (tantrums are not age dependent - even adults have them), and how to reduce or eliminate them, as well as helping parents go from exhaustion and overwhelm to empowered and confident leaders of their family.
Everyone who meets Kim knows she is a Christian. Many parents seek coaching (and counseling) from a Christian perspective. Parents can come away from their coaching experience renewed in faith and hope in God, and a better Godly understanding of the greatest job our creator has given us - Being a PARENT!!
May you be richly blessed!
